Last week at BlogHer, I had the chance to spend a little time drooling over the beautiful appliances in the Samsung‘s booth in the expo hall. Honestly, this is the kind of booth I normally skip right over but I was lured in by the Chef Collection that they were showcasing there.
But first, I spent a little time learning the in and outs of their laundry systems. I would LOVE to have the in my home. We currently have front loaders (not Samsung) and I don’t love them for a variety of reasons. Mostly just because I prefer the old style but would love to have all the fun, updated features.
Features of this dynamic Samsung duo include:
- World’s largest capacity top load washer and dryer, with 5.6 cu. ft. washer capacity and 9.5 cu. ft. dryer capacity – wash and dry four laundry baskets in a single load!
- Features Samsung’s EZ Reach, a wide yet shallow tub that makes for easy unloading.
- Steam washer helps remove stains with limited pre-treatment, while the steam dryer means less time ironing and fewer trips to the dry cleaner.
Awesome, right?
But then I got to wander over to the Chef Collection and was COMPLETELY blown away. I mean, I get by just fine with kitchen appliances we currently have but these would take us to a whole new level.
Dying to hear more? Yeah, I would be too.
Let’s start with the refrigerator. The were displaying two in the booth but I was only able to get up close and personal with one – the . This fridge is a boy mom’s dream. Features include:
- Enough room to fit up to 30 bags of groceries
- The “showcase” gives instant access to drinks and condiments, while the “inner case” is for storing large, fresh food items.
- Counter height, adjustable “smart divider” for smart organization and four temperature control settings also allows easy access for kids.
Next, the ah-mazing . This range is so freaking cool, y’all. Here’s why:
- The five burner cook top gives flexibility to cook with different-sized pans simultaneously.
- Flex Duo Oven lets you cook two dishes, at two different temperatures, at the same time with no noticeable transfer of aroma.
- A built-in probe takes the guesswork out of cooking meat and poultry. The probe allows the user to monitor the temperature which means no more guessing if the meat and poultry is cooked properly.
Finally, the of my dreams. We dirty a ton of dishes throughout the week, but batch cooking on the weekend means lots of dishes that need to be washed, reused and washed again so a dishwasher designed to speed up cleaning time is super exciting.
- Powerful wall of water cleans every item in the dishwasher – even the hard to reach places.
- Flexible rack system offers flexibility to clean all pots, pans and silverware. The top rack adjusts to accommodate tall and oversized cookware while the tines adjust to fit dishes of all shapes and sizes. Also features a third rack with a FlextrayTM which is perfect for oversized cooking utensils, serving spoons and measuring cups. Silverware lays flat for better cleaning and the tray is removable for easy loading and unloading.
- Offers the flexibility to wash almost every kind of dish in one load. Allows for washing fine china along with more durable cookware the same bottom rack.
I came home from BlogHer telling Sal all about these gorgeous appliances. I’m pretty sure he thinks I did nothing but stare at the Chef Collection for three days because I literally couldn’t stop talking about when we get the kitchen of our dreams and how these appliances ABSOLUTELY will be a part of that.
