I’ve mentioned before that my kids are total WWE junkies. They have pretty much every action figure in existence, three wrestling rings and the WWE Network. Some days I think I will scream if I have to hear about what happened (or will happen) on the WWE even one more time.
But they love it. Sigh. And I try to be supportive. And, sometimes, I even get a little caught up in the hype.
One thing that makes me crazy is the the boys have been VERY generously gifted with over the last couple of months. I mean, they are awesome but they aren’t made for kids their ages and although they come with adjustable velcro, they just don’t get skinny enough and I get really tired of putting them back on every 30 seconds.
Enter the homemade, WWE-inspired champion belts. These didn’t come out looking exactly as I had planned because the boys spotted them before I was done and gave me their two cents, but I think they’re pretty cool anyway. And with the help of the fat piece of elastic I added to the back, they should fit for a while.
