You guys. Joey starts school in 12 days. We got a call from his soccer coach about practice starting this week. Ready or not, it’s that time of the year.
I have promised myself that this year, we will be prepared. If you follow my , you know that today I was asking for advice about how daily to do and tasks for the boys. Some great advice there, by the way!
One thing that is always overwhelming in the fall is sports snacks. I showed you how we do baseball snack bags. As you can see, we like to keep it easy.
That’s where the nice people at Albertsons come in. Their huge anniversary sale is so perfect for stocking up on all those staples we all like to have on hand whether it be for school lunches, sports snacks or just to keep our tiny scavengers happy. And don’t forget, even though I shopped Albertsons, you can be sure to check out what great deals are available at Safeway, Vons, Tom Thumb or Amigos!
I know for sure that we will have a minimum of 3 snack days this fall so I grabbed enough supplies to not have to think about it again. I always try to do a drink, a fruit pouch and a carb in my snack bags – kinda trying to cover as many bases as possible when replenishing kids post-workout.
And to make it fun, I like to print on the snack bags using my ink jet printer, personalizing for each sport. Click here if you want to download the soccer printable I used for this snack bag.
Tips – Remember to set up your paper size in printer settings to exactly match your bag size and feed bag folded side up and first. The top edge will be closest to you once bag is fed into printer. Check out this tutorial from my friends at Club Chica Circle for full instructions.

That’s so cute! What kind of printer do you have? Or do you think any printer will work??

I just have a basic ink jet printer. The only concern I would have is how your printer feeds, but I’d guess this will work with most any printer.
